Final Judgment Entered in $25 Million AAC Holdings Securities Class Action

Home»News»Final Judgment Entered in $25 Million AAC Holdings Securities Class Action

On  June 11, 2018, the Honorable Jon P. McCalla (M.D. Tenn.) entered a final judgment and order in the consolidated securities class action lawsuit captioned Kasper v. AAC Holdings, Inc. et al., Case No. 3:15-cv-923 (M.D. Tenn.) approving Plaintiffs’ $25 million recovery for investors.  In doing so, the Court reasoned that “Class Counsel are experienced, practiced securities litigators” who litigated this “complex (if not very complex) case” on a fully contingent basis.  Critically for shareholders of publicly-traded companies, the Court also noted “society’s stake in incentivizing this type of litigation.”
