Emma Moppert is an associate at KSF’s New Orleans office and focuses on federal securities class actions.
Ms. Moppert received her J.D. and Civil Law Certificate from Tulane University School of Law in 2018. She received her B.A. in English Literature, magna cum laude with honors, from George Mason University in 2014.
During her time in law school, Ms. Moppert competed on behalf of Tulane’s Moot Court Program, receiving numerous awards, including 1st Place at Tulane’s Intraschool Moot Court Competition in 2018, Best Oral Advocate at the John R. Brown Appellate Admiralty Moot Court Competition in 2018, 1st Place at the Southwest Regional BLSA Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition in 2018, and appointment to the Order of Barristers. For her performance in Tulane’s Trial Advocacy program, Ms. Moppert received the CALI Award in Trial Advocacy, the James A. Wysocki Trial Advocacy Award, and the Cicero C. Sessions Trial Advocacy Award. Ms. Moppert also served on the executive boards for the Tulane Moot Court Program and Tulane Women in Law Society.
Prior to joining KSF, Ms. Moppert interned for the United States Attorney’s Office Middle District of Louisiana.
Ms. Moppert is admitted to practice in Louisiana.
