In addition, KSF enjoys a special relationship with the underserved youth in the New Orleans region through its Community Outreach Director, Brandon M. Sam.
Brandon is a New Orleans native who leads KSF’s local community outreach efforts. Brandon’s particular passion is mentoring children in health and fitness, with the goal of teaching life affirming lessons of strength, discipline and education.
Brandon has volunteered for a number of non-profit organizations over the years, including the Second Chance Program in Texas, where he mentored incarcerated youth. Brandon has also worked professionally in the fitness and strength training fields as a personal trainer and fitness coach.
Brandon earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2011 from Texas College, where he made the Dean’s List. Brandon also played football at Texas College, where he was a defensive MVP and received All-American academic and athletic honors. After college, Brandon was an undrafted free agent with several NFL teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.
